Helsinki has an excellent & efficient public transport system which connects the airport via train to the city's main railway station. Within the city, trams are very convenient and operates every 10 mins. Before you travel or at the Helsinki airport, download the HSL (Helsinki Region Transport) app and depending on the duration of your trip, you can buy a 1 day or 3 day pass. If you plan to travel more than twice a day using public transport, then these unlimited passes are the cheapest way rather than single fares.
