Konstantin Severinov

Professor of Biology at the Waksman Institute, Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Rutgers University, USA. He is also the Head of Laboratory of genetic regulation of prokaryotic mobile genetic elements at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has also produced over 169 peer-reviewed publications and holds 6 patents in the U.S.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
