The discussion highlighted the benefits of Collective Action as a means to enhance transparency and integrity and its relevance in the context of international standards and best practice. The panelists shared insights into the incorporation of Collective Action in the 2021 OECD Anti-Bribery Recommendation. Bulgaria’s past experience with integrity pacts and future priorities was also discussed.

About the event:
The event on 10 October 2023 focused on Bulgaria’s efforts to strengthen integrity, transparency, accountability and open government through Collective Action and the active participation of the business sector.

The forum was a joint initiative of the Basel Institute on Governance and the Ministry of Finance of Bulgaria, in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce, the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Transparency International Bulgaria.
