How To Make A Funky Boogie Synth Tune In 90 Seconds

Just a quick video of the process of building a funky synth tune, very much inspired by early 80's electronic funk and boogie sounds, from the ground up in 90 seconds.

It has been a while since I put anything up here, partly due to the studio being de-constructed and rebuilt but mainly because my main sequencer the ASQ10 broke down, and is currently in the repair shop. However after a while I got bored and decided to try to record something the old fashioned way, as you can hear my playing is a little sloppy but I think the result is also much closer to those funky synth records of the early 80's. Also every element of the recording is totally dry, no effects no compression, nothing, this is due to the limitations of my recording set up... I have been spoilt in the past by having a sequencer.

Anyway if you are a guitarist of vocalist who would like to add something to this tune then please get in touch, man can not live on synths alone.
