The Silhouette was the first guitar Music Man ever designed, and it marked the debut of many iconic design features that we still see today in Ernie Ball Music Man guitars. The Silhouette Special is a slightly stripped-down version of the original. It has a sleeker 22-fret neck and an HSS pickup configuration as opposed to the 24-fret HSH Silhouette. Not to mention, it has a whole host of features that make life easier for the discerning modern player.
