We at Gleneagles Global Health City have performed Tamilnadu's first bilateral hand transplant at our hospital. The recipient lost his hands in a high intensity electric shock at the age of 21. He visited our hospital and soon we were able to find a brain dead donor from Ahmedabad. The recipient is a male and the donor is a female. This is one of the unique successful surgeries performed at our hospital.
