woodturning An interesting combination

In a piece of elm cut into a cube I embed a few cylinders of massa and a plate of sipo in a random direction.
Then I mount the whole thing point to point on the wood lathe without really knowing what it will give.
The finish is provided by a glossy acrylic varnish.

Dans un morceau d'orme taillé en cube j’incruste quelques cylindres de massa et une plaquette de sipo dans un sens aléatoire.
Puis je monte l'ensemble pointe à pointe sur le tour à bois sans vraiment savoir ce que cela va donner.
La finition est assurée par un vernis acrylique brillant.
