✏️ How to Create a Realistic Shadow in Procreate |

⭐️ MINI STEP-BY-STEP ⭐️👇🏽

Here’s my favourite way to create a realistic shadow in Procreate:
1. Use the shape of your letter to create the shadow. Keep it in the colour of your artwork.
2. Place it underneath, slide it to the side, connect the edges and duplicate it.
3. Use the Adjustments / Perspective Blur / Layer tool to smooth it.
4. Change the blending mode of your layer to Multiply and lower its opacity.
5. Use the shape of your letter again but this time change it to the darkest colour in your artwork (do not use black!)
6. Use the Adjustments / Gaussian Blur / Layer tool to smooth it.
7. Change the blending mode of your layer to Multiply and lower its opacity as well.
8. And voilà!
