Podiatry Residency Program at JPS

Our residents work alongside other training programs at John Peter Smith Hospital including: Orthopaedic, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Sports Medicine and Psychiatry. Our group of staff physicians in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is well trained, easy to approach and communicates with one another. The collaboration begins with medical students who spend time with us and continues with all of the residents at our hospital. As a Level I Trauma Center and county hospital, we have a high volume of trauma cases as well as a diverse clinical experience to facilitate a well-rounded experience.
