A quick video highlighting our 10kN Mechanical Wedge Grip. This grip attaches onto the machine via a female 5/8" clevis coupling with a 5/16" locking pin. UGC can make adapters to fit any tensile testing machine.

This grip is perfect for testing plastics, high strength elastomers, and weak metals. The jaw inserts in this video are for testing flat samples, however jaws for testing rounds are also available.
