🧙 History of Hate: Blackwoods and Brackens | House of the Dragon

We started with Willem Blackwood and Jerrel Bracken, and now we’re here. The Blackwoods and Brackens have finally made their impact on a Game of Thrones property, and predictably it starts with teenagers arguing and ends with hundreds and thousands of men dead in a field, a sword through a throat, and a burning mill. As is tradition for the singularly most volatile and storied feud ever known in Westeros. And I couldn’t be more elated for it, the Blackwoods are one of my favorite houses in the entire series. And the brackens exist as well, the perennial punching bags of the Blackwoods. In this video I’m going to attempt to share my love of the Blackwoods and their epic feud with the Brackens, their history, how they ended up supporting the Blacks and the Greens in the Dance of the Dragons, and why this is all still happening.
