This is probably the most random video to ever appear on my channel.. definitely the ugliest, worst quality one since my windows movie maker days lol. I apologize for that but this show is over 30 years old and I couldn’t find better scenes anywhere, but I couldn’t shake this video idea so I just had to make it despite the quality.

Do any of my subs watch Beverly Hills, 90210? I was born a year after the show started, so it was before my time but growing up I always heard about it and then even more so in my teens when I started getting into teen dramas, I always heard it referenced. I first started it back in 2019, because there was a reboot of it airing that summer and I somehow began watching that even though I had never seen the original.. so soon after I figured I better check it out to see what the reboot was referencing. I watched until early season 4.. but honestly I got bored and was kinda over the soap opera aspect/dramatics of the show. I dunno if this was a sign of the times and if all early 90’s shows were just soapy and overly dramatic, but ya it was getting a bit too much for me lol. I’m sorry some aspects of the show are good but others are just not my favourite. But recently I didn’t know what else to watch and decided to start back up again, and have now gotten to mid season 6. Though it’s hard to continue right now because I’m sad that Andrea and Dylan are both gone, they’re my two favourite characters.. I like Kelly a lot too but I kinda don’t wanna continue the show just to watch her be with Brandon or other randoms. I tried my hardest to give Kelly/Brandon a chance last season but I just couldn’t get into them I’m sorry, not only for the fact that I just really ship Brandrea, but my second favourite ship after them is Dylan/Kelly.

My favourite part about 90210 though and why I kept going throughout the first three seasons were these two. They’re my otp of the show and I’m so mad they were never given an actual chance to be something.. imo they had the most solid relationship and base to build on, their chemistry was so strong, and they just made so much sense to me. Obviously Brenda/Dylan are the main couple you’re supposed to be rooting for in the beginning, but I never enjoyed that relationship much, I dunno it was never interesting to me and in all honesty Brenda is probably my least favourite character lol I’m sorry she just rubbed me the wrong way. So ya I was really solely invested in these two. And then in season 3 when Dylan/Kelly started I really loved their chemistry so I became invested in them too. I think I’m in the large minority with these two couples as my two favourite ships from the show but oh well I don’t choose what I ship the ships choose me haha.
I feel like I’ve read that in season 4 had the actress playing Andrea not gotten pregnant in real life, they may have finally gotten her and Brandon together for real? I dunno if that’s true but either way, the characters pregnancy and then shot gun wedding to a dude she’d known for like 5 episodes just felt so wrong. It totally ruined Andrea for me and as she is my favourite I started to become disinterested. Anyways, these two were the perfect initial strangers to competitive rivals/enemies to friends to best friends TO SHOULD HAVE BEEN LOVERS. Ugh the wasted potential of a slow burn. I still don’t understand why they had them kiss so many times and almost hook up twice, all for nothing.

Isn't this song so perfect for their relationship?! Throughout their friendship (well seasons 1 to 3) they were always friends that had feelings for each other but just never fully acted on them or the timing was off and they kept missing each other. I only used scenes from seasons 1 to 3, cause obviously by season 4 she was married with a kid on the way (ugh) so by then I guess their potential was over for good. Though I’ve gone ahead and watched the two episodes later in the series that she comes back for, so I know her and Jesse get a divorce (shocker lol) and also know the outcome of the show that Brandon and Kelly break up and he leaves.. SO THEY’RE BOTH SINGLE BY THE END OF THE SHOW SO IN MY MIND THEY FINALLY GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER AS ADULTS AND FALL IN LOVE AND ARE TOgether forever fight meee lmao. Eventually I’d like to make a vid of their entire relationship, it’s just so precious and I love it!
