The oil cooler replacement is going to similar to all DD13 DD15 DD16 OM 471 OM 472 OM 473 engines

It is optional to flush the coolant system more than 2 times but it will prevent damage to the coolant system.

the cleaning process will depend on how heavy is the oil contamination in the coolant system.

Do not use diesel to clean the coolant system.

This problem happened in Colorado, the TA road Service said that the engine head was bad and the engine needed to be repaired.
