The Relationship Between the Catholic & Jewish Faiths | EWTN News Nightly

A Vatican university hosted a one day event on Wednesday, examining the relations between members of the Catholic and Jewish faiths. The Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (ANGELICUM) hosted a conference where experts focused on the challenges facing Jews and Catholics since the end of Vatican II in the 1960s. Associate Professor of Theology and Director of the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies at Saint Leo University in Florida, Dr. Matthew Tapie, joins to tell us a little more about the conference and what some of the highlights were. Dr. Matthew discusses what has been the most important and symbolic moments for dialogue between Catholics and Jews since the Second Vatican Council and why Vatican II is the starting point. Dr. Matthew shares what his hopes and expectations are for relations between members of the Catholic and Jewish faiths going forward.
