At the last stop, our tour guide Apple asked us if we wanted some adventurous food. We tried the food and then found we were eating some kind of river worms that are harvested after they float to the surface. She said they are a specialty because they can’t be farmed they can only be found naturally.

After introductions and some some happy water that tasted peculiarly like rice wine we were on our way starting our tour walking through the only lasting stone gate of five in Hanoi.

That evening I went to a Pho restaurant recommended by Apple then did some walking around the lake and headed back to my hotel to slip into a proper food coma.
