The Hibiscus Potion is used to awaken a sleeping person. If the player their save file as Zelda, Link is be found sleeping in a house at the north end of Kakariko Village and can be awoken with the potion. If the player starts as Link, Zelda is found sleeping instead.

The Hibiscus Potion is found in Kakariko Crypt. The player can obtain it by defeating the Shadow version of the sleeper. If the player starts their save file as Link, Shadow Zelda will hold the Potion; if the player starts as Zelda, they must defeat Shadow Link.


8 tsp dried hibiscus flowers
1 tsp rock sugar
(regular sugar as substitute)
4 cups water
1 cup lemonade
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1 Tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp sugar
Optional
2 Oz vodka

In a saucepan over medium high heat add in the dried hibiscus flowers and 4 cups of water. Stir gently and mix well. Once it boils, give it one last gentle stir and remove from heat. Set aside and cover so it can steep for 8-10 minutes. This is a perfect amount of time to pick up my switch and play a quick session of Cadence of Hyrule. Personally, I love doing one life runs! Your heart races with every beat of the game!

Once the tea steeped strain it into a glass. This should give you around 2 cups of tea. Add in the rock sugar and stir so it can dissolve. After that set the tea to the side.

In a blender add in your blueberries and lemonade. On a low setting puree till it becomes a nice liquid. Strain the blueberry lemonade till you get around 1/2 cup.

In a small dish, zest your lemon. After that, cut it open and juice one side of the lemon.

In a cocktail shaker add in 1 cup of the hibiscus tea, 1/2 cup of the blueberry lemonade, ice, and vodka. Shake well till the cocktail shaker becomes frosty.

Dip your glass into the lemon juice, and dip it into some lemon zest and sugar till the rim is well coated

In a glass, serve the drink over ice. Add a lemon slice for garnish and bada bing bada boom you are done! The hibiscus potion is finished! Cheer!
