드니성호(Denis Sungho)
일곱 살에 기타를 시작해, 10대에 이미 이름을 알리기 시작한 클래식 기타리스트. 한국계 벨기에인인 그는
세계를 무대로 활동하며 ‘신들린 연주’, ‘역사에 남을 연주’라는 찬사를 받아왔다. 특유의 서정성을 십분 발휘한 딸에게 바치는 음반 「ISLAND」(2020)와 삶의 기쁨을 담은 「Une Vie 인생」(2023)을 이어 발표하며, 음악으로 희망과 아름다움을 전하고자 한다. 이번 무대에서는 정다운(바이올린), 노원빈(비올라), 이상은(첼로), 서범수(더블베이스)가 함께했다.

Denis Sungho is a classical guitarist who started playing guitar at the age of seven and made a name for himself in his teens. A Belgian of Korean descent, he has been praised as a ‘passionate performance’ and a ‘historical performance’ while performing on the worldwide stage. He released 「ISLAND」 (2020), a record dedicated to her daughter, which was made with full use of his unique lyricism, and 「Une Vie Life」 (2023), which contains the joy of life, is released to convey hope and beauty through music. At this stage, Jung Daun (violin), Wonbin Noh (viola), Sang Eun Lee (cello), and Bumsoo Seo (double bass) were together.

"I composed ‘’one color suite’‘ as a tribute to Dansaekwha painters. I use only a few chords by song. like a monochrome. Hope is in Fmaj. It describes the hope the painters had when they were young. Sometimes hard time but always with hope." - Denis Sungho

“‘La Nuit’는 ‘밤’이라는 뜻입니다. 우리 인생에는 모두 어두운 순간이 있지만, 극복하기 위해 힘을 쓰면 희망과 활기를 찾을 수 있다고 생각해요.
이 곡에서는 특별한 기타 튜닝을 사용했는데요. 5번째 줄은 G, 6번째 줄은 E플랫으로, 특별한 색을 부여합니다.” - 드니성호
"It is a new composition. “La Nuit” means the night. In life, we all have some dark moments but we can find hope and births if we spend energy to come over the difficulties. I use a special guitar tuning. 5th string is G, 6th is Eflat. it gives a special color to the instrument." - Denis Sungho
