This sword is lighter than average and has a slightly deeper sori than most. The blade has more profile and distal taper than many do at this price and it lends itself to being an agile little blade. I do not see this profile used on all the blades on their site and I am not sure how you would go about requesting it. That said, it feels good.

Red Flags: - Take these with a grain of salt. First, I don’t know the validity of all of these claims. Second, any large company has made mistakes. How important are these ethical issues, well that is up to you. I have included a few links below to posts I thought were relevant but you do not have to dig very hard to find people that have issues. I think it is also worth noting that the community has something of a vendetta for Ryansword. Perhaps with good reason, however, I think there are a number of negative comments from people that have never seen or owned their swords. My experience has been very positive, and I get the impression RyanSword is trying to make a good product. Hopefully my experience is not isolated. Anyway, here are the posts, you be the judge.
