Day 4 - South Korea

Today we went to visit the famous Gyeongbokgung palace, in Seoul which I have seen in many Korean dramas like - the goblin, Mr. Queen and it was beautiful in person as well!

We took the subway from Gangnam and reached our destination in an hour. We had already prebooked our Hanbok but the entire street across the palace is filled with rental shops.

There are various packages to choose from and we booked the special version which cost approx 1600 rupees/person and they do hairstyles as well. We did not opt for makeup but it can be done if prebooked.

We hired a professional photographer to click our pictures and you can easily find them on Instagram/google. However, make sure to pre book as they are usually pretty full!

You can also use Klook to book Hanbok rentals and Photography packages together. The agency that we booked namo travels, pre booked our rentals so it was pretty convenient!

You can enter the palace for free if you are wearing Hanbok which is another benefit! It’s a huge area, extremely beautiful but we had to walk a lot! I would say it was worth all the steps.

It was truly an unforgettable experience, my kids were amazing throughout with a lot of energy and my sister was a life saviour, she took the mommy role while I truly enjoyed the vacation 🥹🥰😂
