অসমৰ বান পৰিস্থিতি দিনক দিনে অধিক ভয়াৱহ হৈ পৰিছে। লাখ লাখ লোক প্ৰভাৱিত হৈছে, জীৱন আৰু সম্পত্তিৰ ক্ষতি হৈছে। আজি সংসদত ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় দুৰ্যোগ সঁহাৰি বাহিনীৰ দলৰ পৰা সাহায্য আৰু উদ্ধাৰ অভিযানত সহায় কৰিবলৈ তাৎক্ষণিক সহায়ৰ দাবী জনালোঁ। লগতে জল শক্তিৰ মন্ত্ৰী শ্ৰী চন্দ্ৰকান্ত পাটিলক অসম ভ্ৰমণ কৰি পৰিস্থিতিৰ বুজ ল'বলৈ আৰু প্ৰয়োজনীয় সাহায্য প্ৰদান কৰিবলৈ আহ্বান জনালোঁ।

The flood situation in Assam has reached a critical stage. Lakhs of people have been impacted, there is loss of life and property. In Parliament today, I demanded immediate assistance from the National Disaster Response Force team to assist relief and rescue operations. I also urged Minister of Jal Shakti Shri Chandrakant Patil to visit Assam immediately to take stock of the situation and provide us with the necessary assistance.
