You asked for it, and you got it! Several of you have suggested I try out some oval racing on iRacing, and this weekend seemed like the perfect opportunity - RaceRoom continues to have a bug which messes up the leaderboards, relative boards and TV tower displays, while I don’t own any paid combos in this week’s iRacing schedule. So what the hell, let’s drive around in some circles 😂

All I can say is, it’s far harder than I imagined. I’ve worked a lot on my anticipation and reaction times in circuit racing, but it’s another level completely on these ovals. Basically, it’s chaos - and sadly, my first oval experiences ended up looking more like Wreckfest than iRacing gameplay.

Strap yourselves in… this could get bumpy!
