THE “I AM” OF JESUS – Pt 2
Theme: “I AM” the Light of the World
Text: John 8:12; John 9:5–7

Jesus boldly declared, “I am the Light of the world.” He did not say He has light or shows light—He IS the Light. Wherever Jesus is present, darkness has no power to remain.

In John 8:12, He made a powerful promise: “He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Darkness represents sin, ignorance, confusion, fear, and hopelessness. But Jesus, the true Light, gives direction, clarity, purity, and life.

In John 9:5–7, Jesus proved His claim. He met a man born blind—a condition beyond human remedy. By His word and power, Jesus opened eyes that had never seen light before. This miracle reveals that Jesus does not only speak about light; He imparts light. He gives sight to the blind—both physically and spiritually.

👉 When Jesus becomes your Light:

Blind eyes receive sight

Confusion gives way to clarity

Darkness bows to revelation

Hopelessness turns into purpose

Jesus is still the Light today. No darkness is too deep, no life too blind for Him to illuminate. Come to the Light. Follow the Light. Live in the Light.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, Light of the world, shine upon my life. Remove every darkness in my heart, mind, and path. Give me the light of life, and let me walk in Your truth. Amen.
