“Salitral” at La Cruceta del Vigía. Ponce, Puerto Rico. April 2024.

La Cruceta del Vigía is a 100 feet tall cross with a horizontal sky bridge where you can go up on a glass elevator or climb the stairs. It is located across Museo Serrallés and next to Jardín Japonés in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
When you buy a ticket to visit Museo Serrallés you can go to these three places. Visiting the big cross won’t take you too long. I suggest you do a tour in the morning at Museo Serrallés and then go to Jardín Japonés and Cruceta del Vigía. (My tour at Serrallés castle was at 11:00 a.m.and cost was $15 per person).
After visiting the three places go to the main plaza of Ponce. I went to “el Mercado” as there were no places to eat. There are many kiosks and decent prices and you can eat and also buy fruits and drinks. Walk in the main square. Parque de Bombas, Cathedral and the Delicias fountain. It was a very nice day, it was improvised but memorable.
