First, a hardware store (Brasseaux’s) that sells liquor – yes, you read that right! Then, we ventured to Champagne’s Supermarket in Abbeville, where the manager boldly claimed their selection could rival any in the United States… and he wasn’t wrong. But the real shocker came when they took us to the back rooms, revealing a hidden treasure trove of 100+ dusty, full decanters from the 80s, including iconic Wild Turkey bottles. They surprised me and gifted me one of these incredible decanters! This is a bourbon hunt you truly have to see to believe.
