In recent years, the diffusion of B2C e-commerce has been increasing in many industries and in both mature and emerging markets. In such a scenario, also due to its real potential to support retailers’ omnichannel strategies, B2C e-commerce has become a priority for all companies aiming to improve the journey of their customers.

During this webinar, Prof. Riccardo Mangiaracina will discuss the main challenges of B2C e-commerce in today's economic scenario, such as the choice of the right B2C e-commerce platform, the development of marketing campaigns, the design of an effective customer journey on the website and - last but not least - the implementation of an omnichannel strategy.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿
Prof. Riccardo Mangiaracina is an Associate Professor of Logistics and Production Systems at Politecnico di Milano and, since 2016, the Director of the International-Flex Executive MBA at MIP. Riccardo is the scientific Director of two Observatories - “Electronic invoicing and B2b eCommerce” and “B2c eCommerce” - and the Director of the “Digital Export” Observatory. He is a member of the Italian Association of Professors of Industrial Plants Design & Management (AIDI) and the author of more than 30 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings, mainly on the subjects of Logistics, Supply Chain Management, B2C, and B2B eCommerce.

He holds a Ph.D. in Management Economics and Industrial Engineering, and a Master of Science in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
