"Ratios?! Ahhhh!" I get it, financial ratios aren't everyone's cup of tea. That being said, there are a number of financial ratios that are incredibly useful for executives to understand when leading their organization, and working capital ratio is one of them.


Why? Because working capital is basically the amount of money that you have to operate from on a month to month basis. Now, the rate at which you could pay off all the money that you owe with all the money that you have coming in the accounts receivable (say, 1.2 times), that is working capital ratio.
