Welcome to Hamburg! Our first 24 hours in this port city were rainy, but that didn’t stop us from soaking it all in. We wandered through the Warehouse District, hopped on a public ferry out to Finkenwerder, and even tried the local specialty, Finkenwerder Scholle – a pan-fried plaice topped with crispy bacon. Between the moody streets, the energy of the harbor, and some seriously good food, Hamburg made quite the first impression!
