Next tip for Squad players focuses on improving your in game awareness of the teammates around you on the map! This tip win my opinion will help you immensely in your growth as a Squad player. This change will not take effect until you are in a live game; however, you can make the change at any point you are connected to either the Training Range or a live server.

1. Press ENTER on your keyboard
2. Select the gear/cog wheel located at the top right of the screen
3. By default, the "View Player Roles as Icon" feature is disabled and all players look like little blue and green chevrons with no discerning differences other than the medic and SL. All other players look identical.
4. Select it (it will underscore with a yellow line)
5. If you are connected to a live server and have selected your faction, players will now be seen on the map as a symbol/icon reflecting the role they are playing at that moment
6. This feature doesn't necessarily improve your gameplay or change how you play
7. This feature assists players like the Squad Leader, medic or HAT/LAT identify the closest rifleman to approach and use their rifleman ammo bag to resupply their rally point, bandages or their HAT/LAT respectively
8. It also empowers you with the knowledge of where certain roles are located on the map relative to a player asking for a rifleman or a medic, etc.
9. Now that you know about this feature and know how to turn it on, feel free to share the knowledge with other players you encounter in game that don't know about it.
