5 years ago jazz re:freshed & British Underground produced the 1st ever UK Jazz Showcase at SXSW and it was a phenomenal success. The JAZZ RE:FRESHED OUTERNATIONAL project (supported by the Arts Council England & the PRSF International showcase fund) shone a spotlight on new British jazz talent from Nubya Garcia to Ezra Collective, Kokoroko and Shabaka Hutchings paving the way for the new UK jazz musicians to gain international recognition.

Given the challenges of the pandemic and the restrictions it imposed on travel, audiences and performances, SXSW moved online for 2021 and we were invited to record performances from the UK .
We were fortunate to develop a partnership with the world famous Abbey Road Studios to create a unique streamed showcase featuring new music from Theon Cross, Doom Cannon, Camilla George, Noya Rao, Richard Spaven & Daniel Casimir & Tess Hirst.

This extra special online showcase exclusively broadcast at SXSW on Tuesday, March 16th for those who were registered with SXSW - and now we are able to share this showcase with you all.
