⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ 5-Car R62A Trainset being Transferred to Corona Yard!

Here, we see a 5-car train of R62A single units being transferred from Westchester Yard to Corona Yard. This is done every year to facilitate the provision of air-conditioned subway cars for use on the garbage train that runs out of Corona Yard along the 7 and N lines. This is notable because the R62As were the mainstay of the 7 line from 2003 to 2018. Now that the summer season is over, these R62As will be used to bring the R62As that were used for garbage train service back to Westchester Yard. Enjoy!
