Charleston Wedding | Cannon Green | Jennifer & Matt’s Art-Inspired Wedding

Three years after a romantic waterfront engagement, Jennifer and Matt said, “I do” at the art-inspired wedding of their dreams. While the couple lives in Chicago, they always loved visiting Jennifer’s parents in South Carolina, so they set their sights on Charleston wedding venues. After touring a handful of properties and narrowing down their options, it became clear that Cannon Green was the winner. Jennifer and Matt fell in love with the versatile space, excellent location, and delicious in-house catering, and soon enough, their dream Charleston wedding was booked for October 1,2022. With a venue and date locked in, the pair brought on wedding planner Christina Baxter Weddings & Events to help bring their whimsical rainbow wedding vision to life. The day-of design was inspired by local artist Jonathan Green, whose impact was felt throughout every detail of the colorful wedding. When the fall wedding date rolled around, bride Jennifer stunned in a lace off the shoulder wedding dress by Savin London. Jennifer’s bridal party served as a pop of color, wearing fuchsia bridesmaid dresses. The wedding ceremony and reception spaces were filled with lush greenery, lively floral arrangements, and rainbow wedding decorations. From the cohesive wedding theme to the vibrant pops of color, this art-inspired Cannon Green wedding was perfectly executed.
