I have always hd Brother sowing machines, but this new FS40 take me to skills I was too terrified to try! he finger button Start/Stop instead of the foot control...always thought they were fixing something that was not broken but now LOVE IT

Prior to buying the Brother FS40 I hadn't used a sewing machine since school and friend suggested I get started with this one. It easy to set up and the manual is very good and guides you through all the functions. It 's not at all noisy and is fairly light to carry which made it perfect to take to the sewing classes I'd enrolled in. All in all a solid 10 out of 10!

Once you get the hang of it. It’s brilliant.

When I first got it I thought OMG but then after I'd sat down and taken a quick look at the instructions / guide that comes with it I quickly got the hang of it. It’s brill. It is easier to use than it looks. Very smooth. Made me realise how bad my old machine was.

I already previously owned two other sewing machines as each had different sets of stitches etc, but I can't tell you how much I am loving the new Brother.
