HG Nymph

The HG Nymph is a general purpose wet fly meant for prospect fishing, although in this color it can also be used to imitate Callibaetis species. The soft hen cape tail and hackle collar work together to create a lot of movement in the fly whether it's fished dead drifted, on the swing, with strips, rod tip twitches, retrieves or with mends. A visual trigger to the fish is created with the sparkle dubbing in the thorax that reflects light. This pattern can also be tied in orange, yellow, olive and gray.
