Three days in a creative pressure cooker for healthcare: Developers, designers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals and patients will travel to multiple cities in the Netherlands for Dutch Hacking Health during the weekend from Friday the 19th until Sunday the 21st of May. The goal is to work collaboratively on innovative solutions for health and care. It’s the first time that such a ‘health hackathon’ is being organized in a nation-wide setting in multiple cities.
Dutch Hacking Health
Dutch Hacking Health is a initiative of five Dutch Academic Medical Centers: LUMC, Maastricht UMC+, UMC Groningen, Radboudumc and UMC Utrecht. Teams will work together in Groningen, Leiden, Maastricht, Nijmegen and Utrecht on the future of health.
The Hacking Health concept exists since 2012 and originates from Canada. These events are being organized for healthcare all over the world to create solutions for the healthcare problems of today and tomorrow. Aside from the usual suspects at hackathons like developers, entrepreneurs and designers Hacking Health also invites healthcare professionals and patients to participate in a team.

From problem to solution
Each city will organize a similar program. Patients, caregivers and other participants get a stage during the weekend to pitch their ideas and problems.

Entrancefee for the weekend is €50,- for participants, students get a 50% discount (don't forget to bring your studentcard). Observers for the final demos on sunday will be able to join for € 15,- (free for students).
