Jaguars back!

From Triumph Rover Spares in Adelaide, a Borg Warner Model 12 was sourced from a Jaguar XJ12 V12 and in this episode we swap over parts from the blown Borg Warner Type 8 transmission (and find out nearly conclusively what had blown on it) over to the good used Type 12.

Should be a very quick turnaround, alongside other jobs while the engine is out, it should all be back together, driving and maybe even registered by February if all goes according to plan.

Note: These transmissions are known as Type 8 or Model 8 and Type 12 or Model 12. 8's and 12's have completely different internals but the exact same case, making this swap over possible.
