With 100+ stalls featuring books in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Kashmiri, this festival brought together children, youth, and adults to celebrate the joy of reading. Organized by the National Book Trust of India with local partners, the event showcased everything from poetry, fiction, history, and science to folklore and children’s literature.

More than just a book fair, the Chinar Book Festival created an immersive cultural experience, highlighting the rich literary traditions of Kashmir while connecting readers with new voices and timeless classics.
