Today my Finlay Wax Melter arrived! The unit cane from Simon Lalonde, Clavet Saskatchewan. I’m looking for a more streamline unit which will keep up to the daily Wax cappings produced throughout the extracting day. My old unit is slow, cumbersome and terribly inefficient with power.

The Finlay Melter looks awesome! 240 power, digital thermostat, very well insulated, on wheels, and built to easily access inside. The unit melts inside/outside in. A water jacket pipe in the centre of the unit eliminates that’s slow bulk melt of cappings.

I’ll be running this unit next week to finish off the wax cappings and then all of October as we clean up the wax from first melt. I am looking forward to using this unit!
