Police in Thika have seized 7 bags of bhang worth about a million shillings. Thika West OCPD, Paul Karobia, said the police were acting on a tip-off from members of public in the Kiandutu slums before they waylaid the suspect's car. Karobia added that over the last two months, the police have arrested many drug peddlers in Thika even though a majority of them were small peddlers.
