Sometimes, the simplest videos carry the deepest emotions ❤️

This video, “Kombdi Vade Gavakadche”, was shot back in May 2019, long before I started my YouTube channel My Travel Plans.

It’s not just about food — it’s about family, love, and timeless memories from my village trip to Kumbharkhani (Ratnagiri).

On our journey from Mumbai to Konkan, we stopped at Hotel Abhishek, Chiplun — famous for its delicious Kombdi Vade (Chicken Curry with Vade).

Later, at my mama’s village Yegaon, my Maami lovingly prepared homemade Kombdi Vade on a traditional clay stove.

Those flavors, that moonlit dinner, and her warmth — I captured it all without knowing it would one day become so precious.

Today, I share this video as a tribute to my beloved Maami, who sadly passed away during the pandemic.

Her love, her food, and her smile will forever stay in our hearts 🙏
