Researching done after this video was created I have seen some ideas on aluminum threads being lubricated with wax, Chapstick and other items to reduce wear. Although I had machined aluminum threads with a tap I have never seen a bolt or "male" threaded part threaded directly to a female thread. I am not sure how common this is but the wear may be the reason we never did it.

An over view of a newer product on the market that I think has a critical flaw. I hope people watch this before purchasing...
