Udgam School for Children - Our Vision and Sustainable Practices

Innovation, initiatives, efforts, and the vision that substantiate our efforts, and practices at Udgam School are reflected in the Video.

At Udgam School for Children, we have been substantially promoting the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals and encouraging our learners to be Changemakers.
The following are the practices we adhere to at Udgam School -
• Projects like Tech2SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), Buddies2EASE & EASE4Peace - Earn Values and Spread Empathy to promote kindness, generosity, and passion among learners. Love for Humanity was a global-level initiative to show Small Acts of Kindness to bring a difference in the life of needy and underprivileged people.
• TECH2SDG is to spread the action plan to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Student Ambassadors tried to make a difference in the community through tech initiatives like Value-building Podcasting series, Empathy via Gamification & Artificial Intelligence, Social media Constructivism and Love for Humanity campaigns in global collaboration.
• Campaigns to instil Moral Values and small action plans toward SDGs are initiated by Student Ambassadors of Udgam School for Children, one of such campaigns was the Abandoned Car Project, in which students had to identify the cars that are abandoned and taking up space unnecessarily on roadsides. This campaign was a huge success and was further escalated to the traffic police department for taking appropriate action.
• Further, various community services were undertaken after investigating the global issues and supporting the community. Collaborative initiatives like #EASE4PEACE, #BUDDY2EASE and #STEP2gether4WorldPeace by our student ambassadors have received global recognition by Tech Giant Microsoft as the most Innovative Lesson plans Worldwide to promote SDGs.
• We have installed Smart TVs with advanced technology in all the classes to provide an innovative learning experience to our students, utilising most of the classroom time.
• Science Exhibitions based on Sustainable practices and Renewable sources of Energy are being organized frequently by the students.
• Be a Buddy initiative was taken into consideration as Peer Mentoring to establish quality education and helped fellow learners achieve learning Outcomes.
• The 'Anger Free Zone' initiative is taken to reduce STRESS and ensure the Emotional Well-being of our teaching, non-teaching staff as well as students.
• ABC's of Mental Health program for the Stress Management campaign is launched in School by Counsellor Team to ensure the Socio-emotional well-being of our children.
• Practising Yoga is a prevailing part of the curriculum in our school. Special Assemblies, Mock Parliaments and Motivational Speakers address the awareness of SDGs and inculcate Scientific temper in our learners.
The above-mentioned are just a few of the many practices we adhere to at school. Throughout the year, we endeavour to promote physical, mental, intellectual, and moral well-being of our learners through various integrated practices and concern for the environment is an inherent part of the teaching-learning process at the school.
