Step-by-step guide on recharging / refilling ac air conditioner on Chrysler 200 sedan. This video will apply to any year of Chrysler 200, the only difference will be the location of a/c low pressure port based on the year and engine size.

To recharge the air conditioning you will have yo get an a/c recharge kit which consists of hose, gauge and usually two cans of a/c refrigerant.
Connect freon can to one side of the hose and connect other side of the hose to the low pressure charging port as shown in the video. Pierce the can and then start the engine. Turn a/c on, set fan speed to highest speed and set air circulation inside the cabin. Proceed outside and slowly start to charge the a/c system. Make sure to monitor the gauge for the amount of refrigerant in the system. You have to be careful not to overcharge it as that may damage the a/c compressor.

Once you are happy with the results turn off the engine and disconnect everything.

This process will work in case there is no major leaks in the a/c lines and a/c compressor is working. If you have a leak then vehicle will have to go to a mechanical shop for a proper diagnistics.
