Two busses carrying 63 people were washed into the Trishuli River early this morning by a landslide that occurred on the Madan-Ashrit Highway in Nepal. The incident, which involved the Ganpati Deluxe and the Angel bus headed for Kathmandu, happened about three in the morning when there was a lot of rain in the area.

The buses were traveling down the highway when the landslide struck, forcing them off the road and into the roaring river below, according to Indradev Yadav, the Chief District Officer of Chitwan, who spoke to ANI.
