Sky News host Sharri Markson has given the Prime Minister a “reality check” on the cost of living after Anthony Albanese pretended “everything was rosy” today in Parliament.

“The Prime Minister is facing worse and worse economic results by the day, but he refuses to acknowledge the gravity of this cost of living crisis gripping the nation,” she said.

Ms Markson claims the reality of the cost of living situation in Australia is “brutal”.

“Trying to convince Australians that he’s got this economic crisis covered and that he should be re-elected, well, that’s going to be a harder sell than the Voice because this is personal,” she said.
