ISDT A8 AIR initial thoughts are:



So what are the good and the bad so far?

Good

1. It is compact- it is shorter than the tz chassis. 

2. Current and delta peak control

3. It is versatile with an array of compatible battery type. 

4. in case of an outage it still retains the settings

5. you dont need to reset everything after the charging

6. other phone will never detect it once connected to your phone

7. App does not require permission

8. connects through bluetoothe

9. You can control it through your smart phone




The bad

1. No cycle option (yet)

2. Requires a seperate charging brick or power supply.

3. UI is quirky, wish they have an apply to all toggle

4. It requires a smart phone 

5. could be better if they would add a power out option to serve as a power bank

6. Power brick is another expense
