Walk 137 | Cambridgeshire | Grafham Water

Описание к видео Walk 137 | Cambridgeshire | Grafham Water

A nine-mile circular walk around Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire, with Mrs W providing perfect company, despite her continually stopping to eat Blackberries!

Grafham Water is England's third largest reservoir (by area) and was created in 1965, following the construction of an earth and concrete dam.

Our walk begins at the Visitor Centre on the eastern shore and heads north on the easy-to-follow footpath to the village of Grafham, then along Church Road to Hill Farm. Here we rejoin the footpath alongside the northern shore, pass through Savage’s Spinney and down alongside the eastern shore to Littless Wood.

The final section of the walk passes through the village of Perry on the southern shore, and we then enjoy the views from the top of the Dam, before returning to the visitor centre.

This video was filmed in 4K on a GoPro Hero 11 and a DJI Mini 3 Drone, on a bright and very windy day in August 2024.

If you would like to suggest a walk for me to video, please let me know in the comments.
