Grease is still the word as the classic John Travolta musical returns to Cineworld for Children in Need.

Tickets are on sale from Wednesday 19 October for this charity revival of the mega-hit 1978 musical. It's the summer of 1958 in sunny California, where local greaser Danny Zuko (John Travolta) meets and falls in love with sweetly innocent Sandy Olsen (Olivia Newton-John). Thinking she's gone home after their holiday romance, Danny returns to Rydell High School, where he's the swaggering leader of the T-Birds. But when Sandy also enrols in Rydell High, she joins the Pink Ladies led by local bad girl Betty Rizzo (Stockard Channing).

Adapted from the long running stage musical, 'Grease' cemented the charismatic young John Travolta's superstar status after 'Saturday Night Fever' and also turned Olivia Newton-John into a '70s screen icon. It boasts a fabulous, multi-million-selling soundtrack, including two chart-topping duets: 'You're the One That I Want' and 'Summer Nights'.
