The Impact of Revelation – Abdal Hakim Murad

In this riveting reminder, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad recalls the shattering impact of the cosmic luminous detonation that was Revelation on the pure heart of the Prophet ﷺ. The sweetness of the Qur'an transforms us in ways too deep for us to understand, but through it we experience eternity. It is the uncreated Word of God; a nourishment to our spirit, the greatest nourishment of Ramadan itself.

This talk was given at Cambridge Central Mosque on the night of 27 Ramadan 1440 / 31 May 2019, following completion of the Qur'an during tarawih prayers.
