Rassawa,(Sentry box east)is a mountain in Sri lanka. it is located within kandy district in central province. Locals called it Kinihira kanda, Kinihirigala, rassagala, Rassawa , Wangedi molgas gala. Rassawa is the second highest peak of Dolosbage mountain range. (4721ft) Rassawa mountain where it was said to have king Ravana's iron forges.

According to the history and folklores he was descendant of Suriya wansa of hela yakka tribe. King Ravana was one of the greatest angampora fighters and great scholar in ayurvedic medicine. History say he lived here over 5000 years ago.
The starting point of the maha oya (Ma oya) waters flowing from the North west flank of the Rassawa,



During this journey you can enjoy hiking, beautiful views of lush green mountains and little water falls and streams.
