Bishop Eddie L. Long shares a unique & powerful message on the story of Nicodemus at the 2001 Pastors & Leaders Conference. You all know the story, he came to Jesus by night because he didn't want to be associated with him in the day. Bishop Long encouraged preachers to come out of hiding and be born again, in other words, do away with the traditional methods and toxic systems that have hindered the progress of advancing the kingdom and move into a new day with God. There was also a powerful lesson on submission in this sermon. Nicodemus called Jesus, Rabbi, or 'Teacher' in Greek. Even as popular and well-trained in theology as he was, even being a ruler of Jews, he still had enough sense to call Jesus a teacher. Pastors, you need a pastor/teacher! While many in your congregation sit at your feet, you must be at someone else's.
